Porous low noise wearing courses are popular in Switzerland. However, after 4 to 5 years service distresses appear mostly due raveling. Measuring the susceptibility loss of aggregates is therefore considered a desirable step quality control. The research project was able demonstrate problematic nature scuffing test according EN 12697–50. Instead, it has been shown that simple pull-off many advantages. handheld device easy operate and applicable on site. method discriminates between types mix-designs, degrees compaction performing satisfactory with respect accuracy. It found results correlated reasonably well visual raveling field inspection.
